Building Questions

Our research professor, Deborah Shackleton, asked us to create 10 questions and then make mind maps for each question. Once I got rolling I had 17. I took each question and thought about what tools I could use to answer it, color-coding the answers by method. It was a long process but I am making progress in refining down my ideas. I’ve been reading a lot on systems thinking and am trying to look at a holistic problem. My goal right now is to come up with something that uses design to bring together sustainability and critiquing disposable culture. I am still focusing on problems in the food system and would like my project to benefit the planet, individuals and society. Sounds vague but it is a big step in getting clarity around my thesis.
