The main question I addressed in my research was:
"Can a design system help families involve their 6-10-year-old children in preparing True Foods for weeknight dinners?"
To support this question, three sub-questions were developed:
How can design structure the experiences of parents and children when cooking together?
What are the barriers preventing parents from engaging in cooking activities with their children?
How can pre-teen (6-10 year old) participants participate in cross-generational cooking?
These questions guided the participant research and work produced in the studio.
